Fight for Air Climb NYC

April 9, 2016 @ 9:00 am - 1:00 pm

Support the American Lung Association, honor those who climbed and descended the stairs on September 11, 2001 and raise funds to fight lung cancer by climbing the stairs at One Penn Plaza in Manhattan at 9:00am on Saturday, April 9, 2016.

Lung cancer is the number-1 cancer killer in America, and it is rampant among World Trade Center survivors and recovery workers. Lung cancer kills 159,480 people a year.

The Fight for Air Climb is a “vertical marathon”. Participants can race, run, or walk up the stairs. Racers & runners will climb first, followed by walkers. Several FDNY teams are participating this year.
