Fight for Air Climb – New Haven, CT

February 8, 2014

Lung cancer is the number-1 cancer killer in America, and of course, it is rampant among World Trade Center recovery workers. 433 people a day die from lung cancer – 159,480 deaths a year. Support the American Lung Association and raise funds to fight lung cancer by climbing 32 flights of stairs on Saturday, February 8, 2014 in New Haven, CT.

The Fight for Air Climb is a “vertical marathon”. Participants can choose to race, run, or walk up 32 floors. Racers & runners will climb first, followed by walkers. The last participants will be firefighters climbing in full gear in honor of the FDNY firefighters who responded to the World Trade Center during the terrorist attacks of September 11th.

To join, please contact Danielle Ferrari via email at NewHavenClimb@LungNE.org or call 860-838-4371. To learn more, please click here, or  to find a climb in another area, please visit here.
