9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. FF Joseph Maffeo Foundation Casino Night

The Joseph Maffeo Foundation will host their annual Casino Night from 7:30pm to 11:30pm on Friday, February 26, 2016 at Nicotra’s Ballroom at the Hilton Garden Inn in Staten Island.
Proceeds from Casino Night 2016 will focus on the construction of the brand new Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), as part of the coming Women and Newborn Center at Staten Island University Hospital. Currently the NICU functions as an 11-bed unit and is working to full capacity. Support from the Joseph Maffeo Foundation will expand the unit to 20 beds and add a family waiting room.
Many sponsorship opportunities are available. You can help by buying a journal advertisement, trying your luck with the big bucks 50/50 raffle or simply by attending the event and gambling for a good cause.

Firefighter Joseph Maffeo, 30, was a member of Ladder Co. 101 in Brooklyn. He gave his life in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, leaving his parents, a number of siblings, a wife and a 1-year-old son. The foundation in his name has helped Staten Island Hospital in numerous ways, improving life for hundreds of Joey’s former neighbours.
