9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. FF Jimmy Martinez (ret.) needs blood & platelets

Jimmy Martinez retired from the FDNY after 26 years of service, many of them with E-157. He has multiple myeloma from his time at the World Trade Center and is currently a patient at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, needing regular blood and platelet transfusions
Donations not used by Jimmy will be released for use by other patients, many of whom are children. In order to benefit Jimmy, all designated donations must be made by appointment in the Blood Donor Room of Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center specifying that the donation goes to Jimmy Martinez. All blood types are acceptable.
