9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. FF Christopher A. Santora Educational Scholarship Dinner Dance

The 12th annual Christopher A. Santora Educational Scholarship Dinner Dance will be held on Friday, June 14, 2013 from 7:00pm to 12:00am at Riccardo’s by the Bridge in Astoria.
Battalion Chief Jack Joyce and Battalion Chief Richard Salem will be honored as Men of the Year.

FF Christopher Santora was a popular teacher and history buff who believed passionately in education. Scholarships that bear his name go to the winners of an annual essay contest. He was 23 and had been an FDNY fireman (his lifelong dream, following in his father’s footsteps) only 2 months on September 11, 2001.
