9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. FDNY Firefighter John G. Chipura Memorial Golf Outing

The Firefighter John G. Chipura Memorial Golf Outing is live and will be held on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at the Silver Lake Golf Course on Staten Island.
Breakfast begins at 7:00am. Tee off will take place at 8:00am sharp.
The famous after-party dinner with open bar and raffles will return to the Staaten this year following the day’s golf. Dinner will begin at 2:00pm.
The cost to golf, which includes breakfast, lunch and afterparty/dinner; golf, open bar and shirt, is $175.00 per person. The cost for afterparty/dinner and open bar only is $60.00. Venmo payments will be accepted. Funds raised benefit the John G. Chipura Foundation,which helps firefighter and military families in need, helps children with cancer, and provides scholarships.

Firefighter John G. “Chip” Chipura was an NYPD officer and a US Marine before he joined the FDNY. He was hurt in the terrorist attack on Beirut Marine barracks in 1983, and was killed in the terrorist attack of September 11, 2001.
