9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. FDNY Counseling Service Unit’s new group for firefighters with family members with special needs

The FDNY Counseling Service Unit and Captain Kananowicz from Engine 53 will run a monthly support group for members who have children or other family members with special needs.

Come together with other firefighters who share similar challenges to exchange ideas and get support.

The next meeting will be on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 from 11:00am – 12:30pm on Randall’s Island, Room 226.
