9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Father Mychal Judge Walk of Remembrance

The annual Father Mychal Judge Walk of Remembrance will be held on Sunday, September 7, 2014. The event begins with a 9:00 recital of the Rosary and a 9:30am Mass at Judge’s church, St. Francis of Assisi. When Mass is over, at approximately 10:15am, the walk begins from the quarters of Father Mychal’s firehouse, Engine 1/Ladder 24, across the street from the church.
The walkers go down Seventh Avenue, retracing Father Mychal’s route to the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. The walk pauses at every police precinct and firehouse along the way, where walkers pray for the cops and firefighters there. The walkers proceed to St. Peter’s Church on Barclay Street by the World Trade Center, where Father Mychal’s body was laid on the altar that day.
