Father asks public to send birthday cards to son battling disease

Kiernan Clark is 8 years old, suffers from Hirschsprung’s disease, a digestive disorder, and has had 43 surgeries.
He’ll be spending the next month in hospital, which includes his birthday this Friday.
His dad is asking for birthday cards for him.
“I’m trying to get him better and hopefully this whole thing will put a smile on his face and it will make me feel a lot better seeing him smile,” he said.
