9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Empty Sky 5-K Run/Walk
September 7, 2019 @ 9:30 am - 12:00 pm
The third annual Empty Sky 5-K Run/Walk will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2019 in Liberty State Park. Check-in and t-shirt distribution will begin at 8:30am and the 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony will be held at 9:30am, with the race following at 10:00. Please note that the run will happen rain or shine.
The run is an official USATF-certified event with awards in several categories.
Online registration costs $30.00 per ticket, which includes an Empty Sky Memorial 5-K t-shirt. Registration ends online of September 5, 2019. To register after September 5 or on the day of the event will cost $40.00. Funds raised go towards the upkeep of the Empty Sky September 11th Memorial.
Empty Sky is the official New Jersey September 11 memorial to those people from New Jersey who were murdered in the September 11 attacks.
