DJ for a Cure — a fundraiser to defeat blood cancers
March 23, 2017 @ 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm
On Thursday, March 23, 2017 from 7:00pm to 10:00pm, DJ Quiana Parks, a blood cancer survivor, will present the third annual DJ for a Cure charity event at the W Hotel on Lexington Avenue in NYC.
Everyone in the September 11th community knows the havoc wreaked by blood cancers on those exposed to toxins from the World Trade Center collapses.
Attendees will hear a live mix show, enjoy celebrity DJs, play nostalgic board games, and have access to an open bar. Of course there will be a Delete Blood Cancer (DKMS) swab station to help identify bone marrow donor matches.
Tickets cost $40.00 and are available here. Proceeds from DJ for a Cure will go toward Delete Blood Cancer (DKMS) and Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation for Cancer Research.
The purpose of Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation for Cancer Research is to encourage the development of more effective therapies for patients with leukemia, lymphoma and related cancers.
