A weekend of special events will surround the dedication of the FDNY Marine Corps Association’s memorial to the memory of the 17 FDNY firefighters who were also US Marines when they were killed in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.

The Memorial will be dedicated at the USMC National Museum in Quantico, Virginia on Sunday, October 5, 2014. A parade will bring the steel to the memorial at 10:00am, and the memorial will be dedicated at 10:30am. A reception will take place following the dedication ceremony in the Museum at noon.
