Lower Manhattan’s Team Bubby Fundraising Party to raise money for Cycle for Survival will be held on Thursday, February 21, 2013 at the Regis Royal Upstairs Lounge from 7:00pm-11:00pm. There will be a silent auction, raffle prizes, drink specials, appetizers, live music and dancing.

Cycle for Survival is an indoor cycling event held nationwide to fund rare cancer research with Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. New York City’s Cycle for Survival cycling events are taking place on Saturday March 2 and Sunday March 3, 2013. Please check our listing for that day to learn more.

According to the National Institutes of Health, a “rare” cancer is one with fewer than 200,000 affected individuals in the US.  More than half the people diagnosed with cancer have a rare form of the disease. Rare cancers are affecting the lives of many World Trade Center recovery workers and Lower Manhattan residents.
