9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Welles Remy Crowther Concert for Remembrance – Nyack, NY

The Crowther family invites the public to the fifteenth annual Concert for Remembrance on Sunday, September 18, 2016 at 5:00pm, at Grace Episcopal Church in Nyack, NY, in memory of all those murdered in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, in particular remembering Welles Remy Crowther, age 24.
The concert is always free.
Professional musicians from American Ballet Theatre, New York City Ballet, Metropolitan Opera, New York Philharmonic, New Jersey Symphony, Albany Symphony, Hudson Valley Philharmonic, Long Island Philharmonic, Stamford Symphony and Rockland Symphony have given their time every year for this concert. This year’s program and musicians will be announced nearer the date.
Welles Remy Crowther, who has become known as “the man in the red bandanna”, saved a number of people in the World Trade Center’s South Tower before losing his life in the building’s collapse. A broker with Sandler O’Neill & Partners, he was contemplating becoming a firefighter.
