Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Commemoration of the 1993 Bombing of the World Trade Center

Tuesday, February 26, 2019 will mark the 26th anniversary of the February 26, 1993 bombing of the World Trade Center that took the lives of Monica Rodriguez-Smith; her unborn son; Wilfredo Mercado; William Macko; Stephen A. Knapp; Robert Kirkpatrick; and John DiGiovanni.
A ceremony in their memory will be held by their names on panel N-73 of the North Tower pool on the World Trade Center Memorial Plaza at 12:15pm on Tuesday, February 26, 2019. After a moment of silence at the time the bomb went off (12:18pm); family members of those killed will read the names and lay flowers in their honor.
The bombing injured more than 1,000 people.
