9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Memorial Dedication/Candlelight Ceremony, Commack, NY

The public is invited to the annual candlelight ceremony at 6:00pm on Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at the new September 11th Memorial at Commack High School.
The Memorial is located next to the Heroes Memorial Track at Commack High School.
The Memorial consists of a piece of steel from the World Trade Center that stands on a granite pedestal. Walkways leading to the Memorial are made of commemorative bricks.
The Marine Corps League will fire a 21-gun salute during the ceremony.
