9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Chief Jerry Barbara Night at the Staten Island Yankees

The fifteenth annual Chief Jerry Barbara Night at the Staten Island Yankees will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2016 at the Richmond County Bank Ballpark. The game will begin at 7:00pm, but the evening begins with a pre-game fireboat show and a 6:00pm dance performance by the Next Step Dance Studio.
Remain after the game for fireworks. Also after the game, kids 12 and under can run the bases.
A fee of $17.00 includes a ticket to the game, soda and a hot dog.

Assistant Deputy Chief Jerry Barbara was a devoted family man and an expert in stained glass in addition to his expertise as a firefighter. He was killed at the age of 53 while organizing the rescue efforts at the World Trade Center during the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.
