9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Change the color of One World Trade Center’s spire

To honor  the National Park Service’s centennial, the National Park Foundation is hosting a party with Bill Nye, The Science Guy at Brooklyn Bridge Park on Monday, August 22, 2016, at 5:45pm. The highlight of the event will be a huge circuit board by which attendees can change the color of the lights of One World Trade Center’s spire.

The event’s other entertainment includes a DJ set by Questlove, a surprise musical performance, games for children, and free ice cream.
