9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Ceremony to welcome World Trade Center steel and concert for first responders and military, West Virginia

The City of Huntington, West Virginia will hold a ceremony to commemorate the arrival of World Trade Center steel at 7:00pm on Thursday, May 12, 2016 in Pullman Square. The steel will be used in a 9/11 memorial honoring those killed in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, which is due to open later this year.
Before the ceremony, a concert with the band City Heat entitled, A Tribute to Our First Responders and Military, will begin at 6:00pm.
Both the concert and ceremony will be moved to the Big Sandy Superstore Arena in the event of rain.
