9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Celebrity Golf Tournament for Flight 93 Memorial

To raise additional funds for the completion of the Flight 93 National Memorial there will be a celebrity golf tournament on Monday, September 10, 2012 at Somerset Country Club. The shotgun start is at noon, with registration beginning at 10:00am.
The day’s events include lunch, refreshments on the course, and reception and conclude with a barbecue dinner, silent and Chinese auctions and the awards ceremony.
The fee to golf is $900.00 per threesome (your “fourth” will be a celebrity), or $300.00 per golfer. To watch the day’s play and enjoy the grounds from 11:00am to 5:00pm is $30.00. An all-day spectator pass plus the reception and dinner is $100.00. All funds raised benefit the Flight 93 National Memorial. Registration forms can be downloaded here.
Hosting the tournament is former All-Pro Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Louis Lipps.
Scheduled to appear are: Pittsburgh Pirates closer Kent Tekulve, from the 1979 World Series team, Steelers tight end Randy Grossman, former Penguins star Pierre Larouche, former Steelers Emil Boures, Robin Cole, Steve Fedell, Tony Jeter, Marv Kellum and Dwayne Woodruff, former NBA shooting guard Myron Brown, and Carnegie Mellon University baseball head coach Claudio Reilsono.
