9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Carl V. Bini Memorial Foundation’s Santa Shuffle 5-K

The Carl V. Bini Memorial Foundation will present the first annual Santa Shuffle 5-K on Saturday, December 12, 2015, at 10:00am at Staten Island’s Mount Loretto.
What is the Santa Shuffle 5-K? A fun event for the family in which you and your family run, walk or dance through the Mount Loretto campus while wearing Santa hats and beards. All for three good causes — theCarl V Bini Memorial Fund, Catholic Charities of Staten Island, and Construct Relief.
To register for the Santa Shuffle, please visit this website. The cost to run is $20.00 per child and $35.00 per adult. Adults receive a Santa hat and beard to wear while running; children get an elf hat.
FF Carl Bini, 44, was a career firefighter with the FDNY’s elite Rescue 5. He was killed while responding to the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. The foundation that honors him supports Staten Island, the community he loved, through scholarships, emergency grants and special needs assistance, especially in times of crisis.
