9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Candlelight vigil for victims & survivors of Wisconsin Sikh temple shooting

The Interfaith Center of New York and United Sikhs are organizing a vigil for the Sikh community in New York City on Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at 7:30pm. This event is part of a nationwide  remembrance for the victims and the wounded of the Oak Creek, Wisconsin, Sikh Gurudwara massacre and their families.

Please adhere to these guidelines:
  • No amplified sound (this includes megaphones)
  • No wax candles (electronic candles will be used)
  • No food (Bottled water is OK)
Please meet at the north end of Union Square Park, at 17th Street near Broadway
