Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. If you have been diagnosed with a cancer that could recur after treatment, join the webinar, Frankly Speaking about Cancer: Living with Uncertainty on Thursday, July 28, 2016 from 6:30pm-7:30pm ET.
The webinar will discuss common emotional concerns such as finding a new normal, coping with worry and stress, and getting support and resources. After the presentation there will be an opportunity for the audience to ask questions during an interactive question and answer session.
Presenting the webinar are Felice Apolinsky, social worker and program director of Gilda’s Club’s Nashville branch; patient representative Elisa Corcuera, and caregiver representative Anita Vliegenthart.
