Bulb Registration for Daffodil Project 2017

August 14, 2017 @ 8:00 am - September 1, 2017 @ 3:00 pm

Registration for the 2017 Daffodil Project has opened. Register to receive bulbs from the Daffodil Project by 3:00pm on Friday, September 1, 2017.

Bulbs are free to civic organizations, individuals, corporate volunteer groups, schools, and community leaders who commit to planting them in a park or public space such as a schoolyard, street tree pit, or community garden.

The Daffodil Project began after the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 when Hans van Waardenburg, a Dutch bulb supplier, donated daffodil bulbs to New York as a remembrance of those who were killed in the attacks.

More than six million daffodils have beautified New York and honored the victims of the terrorist attacks since the Daffodil Project began.
