Join the Christian Regenhard Center for Emergency Studies on Thursday, September 27, 2018 from 1:30pm until 3:30pm for a discussion of Kelly McKinney’s new book, Moment of Truth. The book provides an eye-opening perspective on the realities of emergency management and the need to prepare for disasters of all kinds.
Kelly McKinney is a former Deputy Commissioner of Emergency Management for the City of New York and more recently Chief Disaster Officer for the American Red Cross of Greater New York, and NYU Langone Health.
Mr. McKinney will offer his reflections on New York’s as well as the nation’s experience in planning, preparation and response to disasters.
