Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. The Icla Da Silva Foundation is hosting a bone marrow drive on Thursday, October 16, 2014, from 9:00am to 6:00pm at the Star Career Academy in Clifton, NJ.
A simple cheek swab puts you in the database to see if you can save a life. Bone marrow transplants are the last hope for many September 11th survivors and recovery workers with cancer.
