Bon Appetit Magazine’s Benefit for Small Food Businesses Affected by Hurricane Sandy

December 6, 2012 @ 7:30 pm - 10:00 pm

City Grit culinary salon will host the Bon Appetit Do-Your-Part Dinner Series to help small food establishments. For two nights, thirteen of our country’s most talented and recognized chefs are coming together for the first — and possibly only — time ever.

100% of the profits will go to the New York Mayor’s Fund to be specially allotted to the needs of small food businesses.

Each chef will provide one of the five courses for each dinner, accompanied by wine pairings chosen by Talitha Whidbee of Vine Wine in Brooklyn. The night will be kicked off with a cocktail hour provided by Pernod Ricard.

The meal will cost $300.00, wine pairings included.

The December 6th menu will feature the cooking of:

Sean Brock (Husk in Charleston)
Daniel Humm (Eleven Madison Park and NoMad in New York City)
Mario Carbone and Rich Torrisi (Torrisi Italian Specialties and Parm in NYC)
Christopher Kostow (Meadowood in Napa Valley)
April Bloomfield (The Spotted Pig, The Breslin, The John Dory Oyster Bar, all in NYC)
Jon Shook and Vinny Dotolo (Animal and Son of a Gun in Los Angeles)

City Grit
38 Prince (between Mott and Mulberry Streets)
New York, NY
