9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Mineola Volunteer Ambulance Corps will host a blood drive on Thursday, August 29, 2013, 1:00pm at the Mineola Village Hall.
The 2013 Super Bowl Host Committee has partnered with NY Blood Center to help increase blood donations so all donors with NY Blood Center between now and January 17, 2014 will be entered into a sweepstakes for one pair of tickets to Super Bowl XLVIII (valued at $2,500).
