Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Benefit for 9/11 Memorial in Rockford, IL

The Winnebago County 9/11 Emergency Responders Committee will host a benefit for REACT and the 9/11 memorial on Thursday, July 11, 2013 from 5:00pm to 10:00pm at the Prairie Street Brewhouse.
“Party on the Rock,” held indoors, will feature food, a silent auction, raffle, 50/50, fireworks and performances by Johnny Russler and the Beach Bum Band. “Dinner on the Dock”, held outside, will include a performance by Miles Nielsen and the Rusted Hearts.
The cost to attend is $20.00. Proceeds from the event will help build a 9/11 memorial with steel from the World Trade Center.
