9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. For anyone lucky enough to be in lockdown-free, COVID-free Australia, AussieTheatre is giving away five double passes to Come from Away at the Comedy Theatre in Melbourne for the performance on Wednesday, 20 January, 2021 at 7:00pm.
The Tony and Olivier Award-winning musical Come from Away tells the remarkable true story of thousands of stranded passengers and the tiny town in Newfoundland, Canada that welcomed them. In a terrible time, uneasiness turned into trust, people found help, and enduring friendships were made.
On 9/11, the world stopped. On 9/12, their stories moved us all.
