9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Austin PD K9 retirement ceremony – Austin, TX

Three K9s are retiring from the Austin Police Department in a public ceremony.
K9s Raggio, Emma, and Horrigan will retire on Monday, May 20, 2019, from 1:30pm to 3:00pm at the Junior League of Austin.
K9 Raggio had more than 600 deployments during his 8-year career. He trained at Department of Defense Military Working Dog program at Lackland Air Force Base. Raggio was named in honor of Port Authority Supervisor Eugene Raggio, who escaped from the World Trade Center during the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, but went back inside to save others.
K9 Raggio lives with his partner, Officer Clint Hamilton.
Dogs Emma and Horrigan are also retiring.
