9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Assemble Meals for the Hungry to Honor those Killed on 9/11 – New York, NY
September 11, 2019 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
As part of the National Day of Service and Remembrance, on the anniversary of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, join UJA-Federation, 9/11 Tomorrow Together, and many fellow New Yorkers to honor those killed in the attacks by assembling 500,000 healthy meals for individuals at risk of hunger.
Volunteers must serve an entire 2-hour shift packing meals, either 10:00am-12:00 noon or 12:00 noon-2:00pm on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum. Please arrive before the shift to sign in and pick up a t-shirt.
