9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Amy King 5-K Run/Walk

The annual Amy King 5-K Run/Walk will be held on Saturday, November 28, 2015 at 11:00am at the Lakewood Community Center in Lakewood, NY.
The free Amy King of the Hill Race, for children aged 3-10, will begin at 11:30am. (Distances for the children’s race will be determined by age.)
Please come in costume if you would like to! Prizes will be awarded for the best costume.
The entry fee is $30.00 in advance and $35.00 on the day of the race. Proceeds raised will benefit the Amy King Kids’ YMCA Summer Camp and Southwestern Central School Scholarships. Registration forms and information can be found here.
Registration forms must be received by Friday, November 13, 2015 to be guaranteed an Amy King limited edition sweatshirt.
Amy King was a flight attendant on United Flight 175. She was 29 years old on September 11, 2001 when terrorists hijacked her flight. Her long-time boyfriend, Michael Tarrou, 38, also a flight attendant, died with her aboard Flight 175.
