Author Amanda Ripley: “The Unthinkable”
May 14, 2013 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm
FreeThe Tribute Center, the September 11th Families’ Association’s gallery on Liberty Street, is proud to host Amanda Ripley, who will speak about her book, The Unthinkable – Who Survives When Disaster Strikes — and Why, at 6:30pm on Tuesday, May 14, 2013.
For the book, Ms. Ripley has interviewed hundreds of survivors of all kinds of disasters — the terrorist attacks of September 11 2001, fires, plane crashes — to determine what kinds of behaviours increase one’s chances of survival.
All are welcome to attend.
