9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Active-Shooter Security Workshop for NJ Faith-Based Institutions

The National Protection and Programs Directorate Office of Infrastructure Protection and the Katz Jewish Community Center are hosting a free security workshop to enhance awareness of, and response to, active shooter events. The workshop will take place on Wednesday, February 22, 2017, from 8:30am-4:00pm at the Katz Jewish Community Center in Cherry Hill, NJ. Registration will begin at 7:30am

Participants at the workshop will learn about common behavior, conditions and situations associated with active shooters and learn how to incorporate key elements of successful incident management into their planning efforts including communication and incident planning for employees, the development of an emergency plan, recognizing behavioural indicators and coordinating with law enforcement.
