9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. 9/11 Statue Unveiling, Kaysville, UT

On Wednesday, September 11, 2013, at 6:30am, at the Utah State University Botanical Garden Center in Kaysville, there will be a ceremony for the unveiling of a bronze statue dedicated to those murdered during the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. The ceremony begins at 6:30am.

The statue depicts a kneeling firefighter holding a child.

A plaque to the local victims of the attacks is also part of the memorial, which was dedicated last year. The three area residents killed in the terrorist attack were mother and daughter Mary Alice Wahlstrom, 78, and Carolyn Beug, 48, of Kaysville, who were travelling on American Flight 11, and Brady Kay Howell, 26, of Trentonville who was a Navy intern at the Pentagon.
