9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony – Alexandria, VA

The City of Alexandria invites the public to a ceremony marking the fifteenth anniversary of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, on Saturday, September 10, 2016, at 5:00pm in Market Square.
Alexandria’s mayor and representatives from the Alexandria Police Department, Fire Department, and Sheriff’s Office will appear. The “Return to Quarters” bell-ringing ceremony and musical performances by the Alexandria Harmonizers and the City of Alexandria Pipes and Drums will be part of the event.
The ceremony will be held rain or shine, and should last approximately one hour.
