9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. 9/11 Ceremony of Remembrance – Amherst, NY

The public is invited to attend the Town of Amherst’s 9/11 Ceremony of Remembrance to be held at 9:30am on Thursday, September 11, 2014 at Amherst Memorial Hill Grove.
The ceremony will remember the victims of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 and it will include the laying of a wreath, the reading of local victims’ names, and the reciting of the prayer, “We Will Remember Them.”
The ceremony will last about 20 minutes and take place rain or shine. Those attending are encouraged to bring lawn chairs if they would like seating.
