9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. 9/11 Shoe Drive – Waukesha, WI

The City of Waukesha Fire Department is holding Soles for Souls, a shoe drive for local veterans from June 1, 2021 until August 31, 2021. They hope to collect at least 351 pairs of shoes – in honor of the 8 EMTs and 343 FDNY who were killed in the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. Shoes should be new or gently used.
After the town’s September 11th ceremony, the shoes will be taken to the Wisconsin Veterans Home.
Shoes can be dropped off at any of the stations listed below until August 31, 2021.
