9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. 9/11 Procession and 3-part Ceremony – Chatham, NJ

September 11, 2021 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

The Chatham 9/11 Memorial Ceremony will begin promptly at 6:55pm on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at the memorial tree by the Chatham Train Station. There they will honor those who took the train on September 11, 2001 and never returned.

Essex County Pipes and Drum Corps will then lead participants across Fairmount Avenue to the 9/11 Memorial at Reasoner Park. There at 7:15pm a train will sound its horn and Taps will be played in honor of those who answered the call to duty on September 11th.

From Reasoner Park, participants will walk to the 9/11 Memorial behind the Chatham Library, where the names of the Chatham resident will be read. The 13 Chatham residents killed in the terrorist attack are Donald L. Adams, Dennis Buckley, Paul S. Gilbey, Gary R. Haag, Anthony P. Infante, Jr., Robin B. Larkey, Christian H. Maltby, Philip W. Mastrandrea, Peter C. Moutos, Thomas Strada, Kenneth J. Swenson, William R. Tieste, and Peter M. West.
