9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. 9/11 Memorial Paddle Out and Wreath-Laying – Breezy Point, NY

At 8:30am on Saturday, September 11, 2021, AmpSurf is holding their annual 9/11 paddle out and wreath-laying remembrance ceremony to honor those killed in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.

All are invited to attend on shore or in the water. Meet at the Cross of Steel at Breezy Point at 8:30am.

Anyone going into the water must bring their own gear, including surfboard and wetsuit, and if assistance is required, make arrangements for your own helpers. You must be able to get in and out of the water on your own.

A memorial paddle out honors the life of a fallen comrade. Participants enter the water together and float on the surface, hands linked to form a circle.
