9/11 Day of Service and Remembrance – New York, NY and nationwide

September 11, 2018 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

A variety of volunteer opportunities are available to honor those killed in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.

Soon after the devastating September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on America, a group of 9/11 family members and friends started a grassroots movement with the goal of “taking back the day,”and transforming 9/11 from a day of tragedy into a day of doing good. Today that movement has grown to become “9/11 Day,” the nation’s largest day of charitable engagement, officially recognized under federal law and organized annually by the 501(c)(3) nonprofit MyGoodDeed in collaboration with many leading national and regional nonprofits.

To find a volunteer project in NYC, please visit the “9/11 Day” website.
