9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. 9/11 Ceremony – Massapequa Park, NY

There will be a 9/11 ceremony at the Towers of Freedom Military Monument in Massapequa Park, NY at 8:30am on Wednesday, September 11, 2019.

A wreath will be placed at the monument to honor all of those we lost on that day, and to those we have lost since then. A bell will be rung at 8:46am and 9:03am to mark the times the World Trade Center towers were struck.

Rose petals will be dropped over the monument from a helicopter.

The memorial will be open all day. A limited supply of carnations will be available to the public to place on the monument.

All are welcome.
