9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. 9/11 Candlelight Vigil – Massapequa, NY

The community is invited to attend the Town of Oyster Bay’s September 11th memorial ceremony honoring the memories of those murdered in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 on Thursday, September 6, 2018 at 7:00pm at the 9/11 Memorial at Tobay Beach.
From the beach, participants in the ceremony have a direct view of the World Trade Center site.
The Town’s 9/11 memorial bears the names of Oyster Bay residents killed on September 11, 2001.
The names of local residents killed in the attacks will be read, candles will be lit, there will be vocal and bagpipe music, and religious readings.
