9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. 9/11 Candle-Lighting Service – Hawthorne, NJ

On Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at 6:30pm, a candle-lighting service will be held at the 9/11 Memorial in Hawthorne.
This year’s keynote speaker is Ronald Fava, who was acting Passaic County Sheriff at the time of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.
The town’s 9/11 Memorial is located between the Hawthorne Volunteer Ambulance Corps building and Fire Rescue 5 headquarters.
