September 11, 2021 @ 8:30 am - 1:00 pm
The National September 11 Memorial and Museum will observe the anniversary of the terrorist attacks of 2001 by remembering and honoring the 2,973 men, women and children killed in the terrorist attacks at the World Trade Center, at the Pentagon, aboard Flight 93, and the 7 people killed in the February 26, 1993 World Trade Center bombing. The ceremony will take place beginning at 8:30am on Saturday, September 11, 2021 on the 9/11 Memorial Plaza.
The commemoration is for family members of victims of the 2001 and 1993 attacks who have been invited to participate in this year’s reading of the names. The 9/11 Memorial Museum will be open solely for family members. Family members can use the letter that was mailed to their homes or the email they received from the Museum for entrance to the ceremony. P and T case numbers or Memorial Park identification cards will also be accepted. Only one letter per family group is required.
