9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. The dedication of the Walter Mallinson First Responders Memorial will be held this Saturday, September 21, 2019 at 11:00am at Ma Riis Park in Harrison, NY.
Retired Harrison PD K-9 officer Walter Mallinson worked during the recovery efforts after the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. He died in 2017 of World Trade Center-related illness.
