9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. 3256 Foundation Golf Outing Honoring NYPD Sgt. Michael S. Curtin

The fourteenth annual 3256 Foundation Golf Outing in honor of Sergeant Michael S. Curtin of the NYPD will be held on Monday, July 6, 2015 at both the Cherry Creek Golf Links and the Woods at Cherry Creek Golf Course in Riverhead, NY.
Registration will be held between 8:00am and 9:00am. A Continental breakfast will be served from 8:00am to 10:00am. The opening ceremony will be held at 10:00am, with the shotgun start at 10:30am. Cocktails and dinner will take place after the day’s golf.
The fee per golfer is $200.00. The foursome price is $750.00. To attend only the dinner and cocktail hour costs $65.00. Sponsorships are available. Funds raised support causes Mike believed in, including the Wounded Warrior Project, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, the United Way and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

Sgt. Michael S. Curtin was a 12-year veteran of the USMC and an NYPD ESU officer, a devoted husband and father of three girls. A veteran of the first Gulf War, he responded to the 1993 terrorist attack on the World Trade Center and the bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Building in Oklahoma City. He was 45 when he was killed in the 2001 terrorist attack on the World Trade Center.
