Operation Remember Our Heroes – Massapequa, NY

September 11, 2015 @ 8:30 am - 9:30 pm

Join the Towers of Freedom 9/11 Military Monument and the Town of Oyster Bay as they honor and remember all military heroes and 9/11 police officers, firefighters and emergency medical responders who have made the supreme sacrifice for our country.

Operation Remember Our Heroes will be held on Friday, September 11, 2015, from 8:30am to 9:30am.

The Boys and Girl Scouts of America will present a wreath. Politicians will speak.

A bell will be rung at 8:46am and 9:03am to commemorate the moments the planes struck each tower of the World Trade Center. The bell will also ring for all our military personnel who have sacrificed their lives and who continue to fight the war on terror. The bell will ring again for all those who are sick and dying from 9/11-related illnesses.

Carnations will be supplied for those who wish to place them at the monument at the ceremony’s conclusion.
