Ceremony of remembrance – North Ridgeville, OH

September 11, 2014 @ 8:20 am - 11:00 am

To commemorate the anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, the city of North Ridgeville, Ohio will hold a memorial service to remember the 2,973 people murdered thirteen years ago in New York, Arlington, Virginia and Pennsylvania.

On Thursday, September 11, 2014, at 8:20am, community members, emergency workers and politicians will gather at the South Central Park gazebo to reflect.

Pop Shultz Lane will be lined with police and fire department vehicles in honor of the day. A pair of self-contained breathing apparatus cylinders found in the rubble of the World Trade Center — which were donated to the fire department’s museum — will also be on display in the Community Cabin.

The event will be held rain or shine. The public is welcome.

Refreshments will follow the service in the Community Cabin.
